Hi, Im Chris, Co-owner & joint head coach at TYC. I'm a Dad of 3 & have 3 rescue dogs which are my pride and joy. I'm passionate about training, trail running, rugby & I'm big Tottenham Hotspur FC supporter (sorry not sorry).
I first qualified as a level 3 Personal trainer as a 17 year old. I've accrued over 20 years of experience & I'm confident in saying that I'm pretty well versed in the industry. I've coached 121 at elite level, delivering periodised S&C programming to international rugby players, run my own successful group training company for 15+ years (across multiple locations with my team of trainers) & I've run my own corporate well-being company presenting "Wellness in the workplace" workshops for some of the biggest household brands around (Bose, O2, New Era, Panasonic...).
I've been fortunate enough to coach thousands of people which has provided me with a wealth of experience. I believe that the fitness industry has become over-saturated with mediocrity. I'm passionate about providing a higher & unparelleled level of coaching to our customers.
For me "The Devil is in the detail" & I believe that customers should receive a service that offers value & not just an expensive price tag.

I've coached and trained people with an array of training requirements, ranging from stroke recovery to professional athletes. This experience has led to a high proficiency of skill with session programming, scalability, and a deep understanding of biomechanics which provides me with sound basis to design and deliver safe & effective training sessions. I’ve always had a work hard play harder mentality and love searching for a new challenge - be it a half marathon, duathlon or climbing to Everest Base Camp - I'm game!
To pursue my passion in health & fitness I became a Personal Trainer immediately after, graduating from University of Brighton with a BSc Sports and Exercise Science degree.
I've run my own Personal coaching business since 2021. During that time I have built a community of clients stemming from a variety of backgrounds that range from your average 9-5 office worker to students & elite swimmers to people with chronic health conditions.
I believe that fitness is ‘limitless’ and anyone can and should be able to take part. Building confidence, knowledge, a positive atmosphere & mindset are just a few elements that I strive to implement within my training.
A facet of coaching that I'm passionate about is injury management & prevention. I’ve delivered bespoke programming for 100s of clients with a variety of chronic and acute injuries & conditions. I don't believe that an individual should be defined by their health status and I'm an advocate of exercise scalability & inclusion.

Since graduating from University & qualifying as a PT I have furthered my training. I also have a L3 in Sports Massage therapy and I'm a registered GP exercise referral specialist. I've worked alongside clients suffering from various chronic illnesses (Parkinson’s, Spina Bifida as well as Stroke survivors). I provide a robust and comprehensive approach to coaching all of my customers and clients.
You will find me training down at TYC training for my next Hyrox comp or chatting (between sets obviously) with a coffee in my hand!

Hey, I’m Han! Coach & 6 week challenge program co-ordinator here at TYC. I’m all about travelling, new experiences, and pushing myself both inside & outside the gym. Whether I’m exploring new places or lifting weights, I love embracing challenges and making the most of every moment. When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me spending time with family and friends, seeking my next adventure, or possibly enjoying coffee & cake…
My fitness journey started with a curiosity for self-improvement and a drive to push beyond my comfort zone. Coming from a tech recruitment background, I naturally gravitated towards building communities and helping others grow, which transitioned seamlessly into the fitness space.
I earned my Level 2 Gym Instructor & Level 3 PT qualifications while balancing a corporate career, proving my dedication and passion for the industry. Eventually, I left the corporate world behind to go travelling and focus more on fitness, which only strengthened my love for it and deepened my desire to help others on their own journey.
For me, fitness is about more than just the physical benefits—it’s about energy, mindset, and self-belief. My approach is all about helping individuals discover what makes them feel good, build confidence, and achieve their goals at their own pace. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about showing up, doing your best each day, and understanding that ‘your best’ will look different from one day to the next.
My biggest strength is connecting with people and bringing an energetic, positive approach to every session—helping you find joy in movement, confidence in your ability, and a lifestyle that feels effortless!

Hi I’m George, Coach at TYC. I’ve recently finished studying and achieved a business degree at the university of Portsmouth. I love training and have been an avid gym goer for the last 5 years. I come from footballing background, playing for Wycombe academy as a youth. I have a genuine passion for health, exercise and helping others improve their well-being which why a career in fitness is the only path for me. I'm keen to turn my passion into a fulfilling profession. I am confident, hard working and love coaching people in a personal and group setting.
